Avison Young poaches Knight Frank’s investment director

Avison Young team in Poland is expanding by appointment of Marcin Purgal – experienced director, active on Polish and CEE commercial property markets for ca. 15 years. He is taking the position of Senior Director in the Investment Advisory Department.

Avison Young team in Poland is expanding by appointment of Marcin Purgal – experienced director, active on Polish and CEE commercial property markets for ca. 15 years. He is taking the position of Senior Director in the Investment Advisory Department.

Marcin is a member of RICS. He has been developing his skills and gaining experience at Savills and also at Knight Frank, where most recently he served as Director in the Capital Markets department. Throughout years he has successfully closed many important transactions in the Polish market such as office buildings Retro Office House (Wrocław), Silesia Star (Katowice), Maraton (Poznań), as well as industrial and retail properties including HopStop Portfolio. He has collaborated with such notable investors and investment funds as Globalworth, Hines, CPI Group, Union Investment, Skanska, Develia and many others. Total transaction value of the projects closed by Marcin accounts for Euro 1.5 billion.

At Avison Young Marcin will be responsible for sales and acquisitions of commercial properties conducted by the Investment Advisory team. He will be also dedicated to establishing and maintaining good relationships with clients and seeking new investment opportunities.
